We have upgraded  our flag kits and I think you will like the new poles and brackets. The poles are metal poles in white and we have a new all metal bracket that lasts much longer than the old plastic one. It comes with a small packages of wood screws that can attach it to a wood surface.

The Super Poly US fag is a far cry from the single ply poly. It is two ply with sewn stripes and embroidered stars. It rivals the 3 by 5 nylon flag in beauty and durability.

We went to a Pepper shot a tad smaller in diameter that is easier to carry in a pyres or pocket.  It still packs a wallop with 17% Red Hot Spray.  For those who prefer the fatter unit with a holster we have those as well.
